MHM thanks Ellen Kramer and the many volunteers of the Lake Superior Marine Museum Association for their great work in organizing the conference.

On 5 November 2011 Maritime Heritage Minnesota staff Ann and Christopher gave a presentation on our on-going USS Essex assessments and wreck damage documentation. MHM also set up a visual exhibit to inform visitors to the Gales of November Conference about our activities.
